Happy birthday Grandma !!!
Grandma is 88 !!! actually 89 just that her IC says she's born in 1920 which makes her younger : ) Gathering at grandma house to celebrate her B'dae and pratically everyone came and squeezed into a small flat . But i love the atmosphere : ) Noisy yet heartwarming looking at all the relatives coming to celebrate gandma's B'dae. Imagine 40 + people in a house, pure fun and joy : ) You get to see relatives whom only 'appear' twice a year, once during CNY and another being grandma's B'dae : ) And also to catch up with your cousins. But grandma's B'dae means grandma's getting older and weaker year by year which can be seen, but, she is still as funny as ever. She just have her ways of making people laugh. I still remember whenever i am lying next to her resting, she will just tell me her old stories like she escaped the WWII with some of the patients she was handling ( yes, she was a nurse ) and she will also tell me some of her unhapiness and listening to some of them make me feel real sad. Sad because i cant do much to help her as it isnt under my ability to handle and i noe thats just the problem which is making her unhappy ( altough she always give people a cheery look ). And thinking back to the times when i was young and she took care of me, i regretted quarreling with her once ( i shouted at her : ( ) and not taking more care of her. I was still too young then. Also, when she was admitted to hospital just a few months back, i almost cried out looking her in all those pain. Tats the time when i really am afraid she's going to leave and regretting not really giving her the best. I felt really unfilial. But, to our relieve, she recovered : ) And i promise to myself that one day when i am starting to earn money, she will be the first one to be treated and i really really hope she could live till i have my own children to give her a hug or a kiss and let my children see how good a person my grandma is . She is just the person i really admire and give huge respect to in my life.
